A long day of travel, about 16 hours door to door–Springfield to Seattle to Fairbanks. Got checked in at the hotel where everything is happening, then enjoyed dinner with some good friends from out Class of 2011 bishops & spouses community.

I’m really glad you will be in Fairbanks for the meeting. My wife and I are driving from Southeast Alaska hoping to watch any open sessions and the river blessing. Her Grandfather was an Episcopal priest and apparently conducted the first Episcopal
Service in Fairbanks in 1903. My Dad was an Episcopal priest here in Alaska. God bless you and keep you safe on your travels.
