Usual early morning routine. Attended to some personal financial chores. Got packed for five nights away, and called a Lyft at 1145 to take me out to O’Hare, where I caught the 2:05 United departure for Asheville, NC, then on my shuttle to Kanuga, the camp/conference center where the regular spring meeting of the House of Bishops is taking place. Got settled in my room. Had dinner. Processed a bunch of emails. Wrote my article for the next edition of the Springfield. Current.
