Listening Sessions Announced

The Profile sub-Committee of the Election Committee is offering the faithful of the Diocese of Springfield multiple ways to offer insights, ideas, and opinions into the development of the Profile.  In addition to the survey and gathering your comments on-line, registration is now open to Listening Sessions.  There will be separate Layperson only and Clergy only sessions.  The information gathered will be used by the Election Committee in framing a Profile to tell our diocese’s story.

For more information and to register (or help someone else register) please visit the registration page here.

The in-person Listening Sessions will be subject to established Covid19 mitigation guidelines requiring capacity limits, masking, and social distancing.  Everyone should evaluate your level of comfort with the Covid 19 risk.  It is a personal decision whether to attend an in-person meeting and for those who are unable to attend or uncomfortable with assuming the risk, please feel free to register for a virtual listening session on Zoom.

Registrations will be first come – first served and will close when the capacity limit is reached.  If your Deanery sessions are full or the dates do not work for you, please feel free to register for any other Deanery’s sessions.

The Clergy only Listening sessions will be conducted using Zoom.

You must register at least 48 hours in advance to take part in either an in-person or Zoom Listening Session.
