Finally connected by phone with Bishop Love, a fellow Nashotah trustee, over some business that will come before the board later this month.
Left a voicemail with Fr Scanlon, president of the Standing Committee, ahead of tomorrow’s meeting of said committee.
Forward some materials to the vestry of Alton Parish that will be of help to them as they enter a transitional period.
Wrote and send a discretionary fund check to one of our clergy who has encountered an unexpected and extraordinary expense.
Traded emails with the Rector’s Warden of one of our parishes, also in transition, over some related issues.
Took care of some details related to household finances.
Received Fr Scanlon’s returned phone call, and spoke for several minutes.
Lunch at home. Leftovers.
From developed notes, produced a rough draft for the institution of the Rev. Beth Maynard as rector of Emmanuel, Champaign on St Luke’s Day.
