As we prepare for the election of the XIIth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Springfield, the Standing Committee, along with our Assisting Bishop Paul Lambert, invites all members of the Diocese to Three Fridays of prayer and fasting: November 26, December 3, and December 10.
Here you may find practical materials for these devotions suitable for reproduction selected for us by Bishop Lambert. Please do make them widely available and bring them into your own personal prayers as well.
On the third Friday, December 10, the Cathedral of St. Paul in Springfield will be open for prayer from 9 am to 4:30 pm, with the Holy Eucharist celebrated at 12:15 pm. An opportunity for joyful fellowship follows in the Pinnacle Room of the Wyndham, Springfield with a dessert reception from 7 – 10 pm. ALL ARE WELCOME at this party – no reservation or payment is required or expected!
