DIOCESE
OF SPRINGFIELD
TO
PARTICIPATE IN YOUTHQUAKE 2006

The Diocese
of Springfield will be participating in Youth Quake 2006 to be held at
the Lifeway Conference Center, Ridgecrest, N.C. from January 13-15,
2006. YouthQuake is a weekend of intense, interactive teaching and
worship designed to ignite, equip and mobilize junior high and
senior high students with a passion and a zeal for making a
“Kingdom difference” in this world. The theme of next year’s YouthQuake
is “Unashamed.”
Middle
school and high school youth, youth workers, and clergy of the Diocese
of Springfield are encouraged to participate in a ‘Road Trip for the
Kingdom.’
The
itinerary is as follows:

Thurs. Jan. 12 – 7:00 p.m.:
Lock-in at Trinity Episcopal Church, Mt. Vernon
· Fri. Jan 13 – 7:00 a.m.:
Leave Mt. Vernon for Ridgecrest, NC
· Fri. Jan 13 – 6:00 p.m.:
Arrive at Ridgecrest, NC
· Fri. Jan 13 – 6:15 p.m.:
YouthQuake 2006 Registration
· Fri. Jan 13 – 7:00 p.m.:
Session 1
· Sat. Jan 14 – 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.: Sessions 2 & 3
· Sun. Jan 15 – 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Celebration with Eucharist
· Sun. Jan 15 - 12:00 (Noon):
Leave Ridgecrest, NC

Arrive at Trinity, Mt. Vernon
The cost is:
$129.00 (fee includes registration and t-shirt) plus transportation --
the cost of which is to be determined. Financial assistance is
available.
Save the
dates and your space. You can reserve a place by submitting a $20.00
(transferable but non-refundable) deposit for each participant. Send
your deposit to the Diocese of Springfield by 10 December 2005. Checks
should be made out to: “The Diocese of Springfield -- YouthQuake 2006.”
Include the name of your church and the name or names of those for whom
the reservation(s) is/are being made. This is one of those events you
will not want to miss. It promises to be a life changing experience!
