YouthQuake was amazing. It was more than a church retreat it was an experience that has changed me from the inside out. The worship brought me to my knees and opened my heart to hear God. It helped to surrender myself to God and let him take the wheel. YouthQuake is an experience of a life time!

As a Christian, I appreciated YouthQuake like a plant loves a drink of water. It was a refreshing atmosphere, much different than any we experienced with Happening, where we could just praise God with over a thousand other teenagers. It was a good time to really bond with the fun people of our diocese and pray for the needs of our extended family. The speakers were very excellent, and I still am learning things from what they taught us. One thing I bring back frequently is when the main speaker told us a story in which a flight attendant said, "You're one of those Jesus Freaks aren't you?" And he replied "Why yes I am. Whose freak are you?"

YouthQuake was more than teaching us how to be freaks for Jesus, YouthQuake helped show me where God wants me to be at, and to listen more often for His voice. I hope, as Bishop mentioned, that we have 4 busses that go next year. I think this is an important event in our Diocese that can bring life back to our parishes.

Thank you for sending me to YOUTHQUAKE. I met so many outstanding people here. I wish people at home were this kind hearted. It was a wonderful experience with God and great friends. So THANK YOU once again.

Thanks so much for helping make YouthQuake ‘06 possible. It was an unforgettable experience both learning about the Holy Spirit and seeing and feeling Him move in myself and others. It was also a tremendous opportunity for fun and fellowship, and after it all I left feeling refreshed and energized and ready to move forward!

Thank you for supporting YouthQuake 06 and creating an opportunity for everyone to come together. This weekend I made some new friends, saw some old ones and I now have a better relationship with God. This weekend meant a lot to me and I want to come back next year!

This weekend was amazing! It helped me get closer to the Lord. I don't think I was that close to Him before this weekend. I felt like I took about five giant steps closer to Him. I feel that no one talks about Jesus or the Lord outside of things like this because they feel that it would be un-cool. But I am going to take this weekend with me back to school and let people know how important He is, and also try to bring them closer to Jesus as well!

As a cradle Episcopalian I find it easy to make church, Christ and my prayers too much of a habit instead of a joy. Events like YouthQuake, Happening, and Cornerstone have been so important in keeping my faith alive and moving forward. I learned so much about what it means to show your faith. I hope all the youth found it as refreshing as I did!

What I like that I did this weekend (is) that we praised God and that we got to do fun stuff!

I've been transformed! Our (adults) confession and repentance for the mistakes of our generation (Baby Boomers) made to God and to the youth blew me away. I praise God for sending me to this YouthQuake! GLORY TO GOD!

This weekend was amazing. I learned a lot about myself and my God, and I will always be grateful for this experience and will never 4get it. I'm grateful to all the amazing adults that gave up their time to make this work. Everyone was amazing and I can't thank everyone enough. I especially can't thank God enough. I def. made a 180!

I would like to thank everyone who made YouthQuake possible. I went to Happening and I know how much work went into that and YouthQuake was ten times bigger, so I can only imagine!

This is the most significant spiritual event I've seen and I've been involved in many youth events over the past 20 years. There was great content and great worship; but mainly I felt God was able to deal with us personally in a new way. I sense such events can be key to our parish developing and expanding a dynamic ministry to youth.
