Episcopal Church
Camp 2005
July 3 to July
9, 2005
Church Information
Sheet
Dear Clergy,
It is time again for summer church camp! While it may seem months away,
camp is actually right around the corner and we need your cooperation to
ensure that it is a success!
In this packet, please find an application, health form, and purpose
statement for Episcopal Church Camp 2005 to copy and distribute as
appropriate.
Camp is a wonderful, spiritual time for all children who attend. In an
effort to show all churches in both dioceses what camp is, we have
enclosed a DVD set to Christian music about camp. Please show this DVD to
your youth group and parents, or at a coffee hour.
Please follow these guidelines when submitting applications on behalf of
your church family:
Diocesan/Parish Scholarships
If a camper is eligible for any form of scholarship, please use the
following procedure:
1. Have the parent complete the application and health form and submit to
the church office
2. “To be completed by the parish office” section completed and signed by
clergy
3. Parish and/or diocesan scholarship eligibility must be noted
4. Parish scholarship monies, application, and health form are to be sent
together by the
parish to the address on the application.
5. If sending one check for multiple campers, please provide a list
indicating the amount
included for each camper.
ANY APPLICATIONS
RECEIVED WITHOUT PARISH SCHOLARSHIP MONEY INCLUDED WILL BE RETURNED TO THE
PARISH.
Registration
Deadlines
Early bird applications
must be paid in full (postmarked) by May 1, 2005 to receive the $10.00 per
camper discount. This includes those receiving parish scholarships.
All applications MUST
be postmarked by June 1, 2005.
Please make your parish family aware of
this policy and advise them to apply early. We want every child to have
the opportunity to experience camp, but the staff must have time to plan
and order supplies for their areas.
In Christ,
Becky Gamage
