THE REVEREND CANON LESLIE EDGAR WILSON

The Reverend Canon Leslie E. Wilson, 98, Retired Priest of the Diocese of Springfield and Honorary Canon of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Springfield, IL died on Saturday morning, January 17, 2004 at his son, Charles’ house in Belleville, Illinois.

He is survived by:

Children:                       Charles William and his wife Gabrielle of Belleville, Illinois

Susan Lucretia Quensel and her husband Barry of Lawton, Oklahoma

Grandchildren:               Sabrina Wilson and Mark Goerger

Brother:                        Cecil Wilson of Washington, Indiana

The congregational family of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Belleville, IL.

The Requiem Eucharist will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at St. George’s Episcopal Church, Belleville, IL. The ashes will be interred following the Service in the Memorial Garden.
