Norma Dearing, Head of Healing Touch
Ministries, will be the featured speaker at the 26th Annual
Pausing for Prayer event on February 2, 2008, at the Cathedral Church of
St. Paul, Springfield. Her comments on healing prayer will certainly be
beneficial for all of us in our own parishes.
Norma’s radio program, The Healing Touch,
is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, but airs via satellite. She
has authored two books on healing. This program will be very different
but very informative to those interested in healing prayer.
Everyone is invited to help celebrate the
Diocesan Prayer Fellowship’s twenty-six years of ministry to the
Diocese.
Registration for the event will begin at
8:45 a.m. Coffee and donuts will be provided. Lunch will also be
served. Participants may register by phone (217) 525-1876, e-mail to
diocese@episcopalspringfield.org or mail the
registration form for
delivery by January 23, 2008. Spending the day with members of our
diocesan family and Norma Dearing will be a wonderful way to begin your
Lenten journey for 2008.
