The Liturgy
of Collegiality
During this service the clergy will renew ordination vows and
there will also be the blessing of holy oils.
Clergy are reminded
to please bring a pyx if they plan on taking the fermentum
with them, and return to the Cathedral sacristy any empty bottles
they may have from last year's oils.
Clergy are also asked to wear alb and white stole since they
will be con-celebrating at the Eucharist.
Envelopes for the endowment of the Diocese offering to be
taken on Whitsunday, (June 4th – Canon 39), and for the
Bishop's Discretionary Fund to use at the time of the Bishop’s
visitation will be available. Please take the number of envelopes
needed in 2006.
We look forward to seeing each of you - clergy, postulants,
candidates and spouses at the service and during our fellowship
time, which will follow. Luncheon will be served in the Great Hall,
and it is hoped each of you will be present.
