CANDIDATES FOR THE OFFICE OF BISHOP DIOCESAN

At the Nominating Synod on Saturday August 7, 2010 in the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Springfield, Illinois, the Clerical and Lay Delegates of the Diocese of Springfield nominated The Reverend Matthew A. Gunter (Diocese of Chicago), The Reverend Daniel H. Martins (Diocese of Northern Indiana) and The Reverend Canon E. Mark Stevenson (Diocese of Louisiana) as the final candidates for the Election of the Eleventh Bishop of Springfield. The Electing Synod will meet on Saturday, September 18, 2010.
