| October 23 (St. James of Jerusalem) | Announcement of the Election Committee Chair and outline of general process at the Synod |
| November 29 (First Sunday of Advent) | Election Committee formed |
2010
| January 18 (Confession of St. Peter) | Budget developed for approval at February 2010 Diocesan Council meeting |
| February 17 (Ash Wednesday) | Diocesan Profile and Survey completed, Guidelines and Nomination Forms to be sent out |
| April 12 | Deadline for receiving Nominations for Election of the Bishop Diocesan. Contact nominees, and questionnaires mailed to nominees |
| May 13 (Ascension Day) | Deadline for nominees to submit their responses to the questionnaire |
| June 29 (St. Peter and St. Paul) | Initial Screening (background checks) and deadline for compilation of Booklet of nominees. Booklet to be mailed to delegates of our Diocesan Nominating Synod |
| August 6-7 (The Transfiguration) | Nominating Synod convenes to elect the final list of candidates for Bishop Diocesan. Final screening (further in-depth background checks) will be implemented following the Nominating Synod and prior to the Electing Synod. |
| August 31 (St. Aiden) – September 2 | Candidates visit the Diocese - Walk Abouts |
| September 17-18 (Edward Pusey, Priest) | Electing Synod convenes to elect Bishop Diocesan |
