THE 127th DIOCESAN SYNOD

October 1- 2, 2004

 

INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

INFORMATION CONCERNING SYNOD:

Pre-registration forms and information about hotels and meals have been sent to all delegates from our host, Christ the King, Normal.  Each person, whether delegate, alternate or guest, attending any part of Synod or its related activities must complete a registration form and return it to Christ the King.  If you have not already completed and returned your registration and dinner reservation (with payment enclosed), please do so immediately.  Also, your nametag will be made after you pre-register.  Please know that our host invites all members of the Diocese of Springfield to join the Synod for Evensong on Friday at 5:00 p.m. (Holiday Inn), the banquet on Friday at 7:30 p.m. (Holiday Inn), and Holy Eucharist on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. (Christ the King).

 

 

REGISTRATION AT SYNOD:

Upon arrival at the Synod, all Clergy and Lay Delegates must register with the Very Rev. Brant V. Hazlett, Assistant Secretary.  Your Synod packet will be available for pick-up after you have “signed in.”  Guests, Alternate Delegates, and Youth Representatives who have pre-registered by mail will have packets with nametags available for pick-up from our host Church representatives.  Fr. Hazlett will be available from 11:00 a.m. until 12:50 p.m.  A list of clerical and lay delegates eligible to register and vote is included. Click to see eligible list of Clerical and Lay delegates. Any change of delegation should be sent to Bishop Beckwith in advance of the Synod.

 

NOTE:  No delegate may vote until he or she has registered with the Secretary/Assistant Secretary.
